House of Illustration's Winter Fair, taking place on Saturday 8 December 2018, is now full.

This will be our eighth major fair in King’s Cross. The event, which is free for the public to attend, has built up a great reputation as a way to view and buy the work of a cross section of practitioners, from early-career creatives to established professionals.
We once again anticipate an audience within the thousands eager to discover beautiful and diverse work ranging from prints, publications, original artworks, illustrated products, decorated ceramics, seasonal gifts and more.
The early bird cost of a stand is £79 for the day, valid on applications submitted by Sunday 30 September.
Don’t forget, we do not charge commission on any of the sales you make!
As previously, a stand consists of:
- one standard 6’ x 2.5’ table
- one chair
- two vertical wooden batons securing ‘washing lines’ from which light weight work can be hung at the rear of the stand.
Indoor Location - The Crossing
The Winter Fair is taking place within the giant enclosed entrance area at the front of the Central St Martins building. We have already successfully used this space to host the 2015 Winter Fair and are delighted to have it again as it offers good light and warmth on a cold and dark winter day.
It’s right next to House of Illustrations and our usual Summer Fair spot under the Handyside Canopy. It is easy to find, nearby the major King’s Cross transport hub and there is good footfall with people visiting nearby Granary Square, Central Saint Martin’s, the flagship Waitrose store and, opening in October 2018, Coal Drops Yard – a new shopping street with shops, cafes, bars and restaurants designed by Heatherwick Studio.
Setup is on Saturday 8 December from 8am, and your stand must be ready in advance of 11am when the event is scheduled to start. We ask also that you stay until the end of the event at 5pm.
