Illustrating Science is the House of Illustration’s pioneering primary school project funded by the Wellcome Trust that brings together scientists and illustrators to deliver hands-on scientific and illustration learning for children. It’s taking place this spring term at three London schools.
Illustrating Science places professional illustrators into primary classrooms bringing learning to life and supporting visual communication skills for pupils. Each school was also visited by a real live scientist who helped the children conduct experiments and inspired them about the wonders of a career in science.
