Accessible Day for Families
Wednesday 16 August
We've got some exciting school holiday art activities for disabled and deaf children and their families. Drop in for making sessions and fun sensory learning, supported by BSL interpreters. Click here to book your (free!) space.
Encourage your kids to explore on our art trails around each exhibition (one family ticket covers admission to all three, and under 5s go free!).
Kids can make their own paper flowers in Jacqueline Ayer: Drawing on Thailand using origami papers to recreate hanging ornaments from Jacqueline Ayer's 1960s drawings.
Here's an example of the worksheets you'll find in our Quentin Blake: The Life of Birds exhibition:
And here are our brand new activity sheets in the Anime Architecture: Backgrounds of Japan show, inviting you to create your very own anime island:
P.S. Pack your swimming things in case of sunshine, when the fountains transform Granary Square into an urban beach, right on our doorstep!
