You can help us transform our chosen building in the King’s Cross regeneration area into the first centre in the UK dedicated to illustration in all its forms, past and present, national and international.
Your contribution to our capital campaign will make it happen.
A beautiful Victorian building designed in 1850 by Lewis Cubitt (who also designed King’s Cross Station and the Royal Northern Hotel), the building will provide unique opportunities for people of all ages to engage with illustration. Temporary and touring exhibitions will showcase art work rarely seen, currently languishing in storage in galleries, museums and private homes; online projects will make collections accessible and interactive; our Education space will bring illustration alive for children and adults alike, and allow illustrators to develop and showcase their work. It will also house Quentin Blake’s archive.
