Illustrators Mark Long and Mark Oliver worked with Years 2 and 4 on science and literacy topics. Year 2 learnt watercolour techniques and did pictures of different places that electricity comes from, which were gathered into a book called An A to Z of Electricity. Everyone in Year 4 wrote the beginning to a story and then used collage techniques to illustrate it. All the children’s work was published as a class Book of Beginnings, with each one followed by two blank pages so you can make up the next part of the story yourself!
