Family Workshop: Springtime Scratch

Join illustrator Jhinuk Sarkar for a spring-themed illustration session

When, Where

It’s spring! The daffodils are out in King’s Cross and this April you can join us for a Family Workshop, taking inspiration from springtime stories together with our current exhibition, Nous Vous: Three Men in a Boat.

The exhibition features work by our Illustrators in Residence, who have illustrated Jerome K. Jerome’s humorous classic using unconventional means. The show brings together illustrations created using a rudimentary ‘drawing machine’ and the results are fun and engaging for all ages.

In this session, explore classic spring themes with illustrator Jhinuk Sarkar, using our own unconventional means: you’ll get to pick a springtime text and illustrate it using scratch art papers to get some unexpected results.

Please note that Family Workshops may only be attended by children with accompanying adults. Children must be accompanied at all times. Adults who are not accompanying children will not be admitted.

Child tickets must be purchased in advance, and adult tickets are £7.50 and should be purchased on the day.
