Discover the joys of painting white floral and vegetable subjects with award-winning botanical illustrator and educator Elaine Searle.
Working with watercolour at its most subtle, using pale shadow washes and dry brush for detail and finishing, you’ll open your eyes to the range of delicate colours that exist in supposedly white floral subjects, capturing the ethereal shades reflecting and hiding in botanical surfaces.
Using a combination of short demonstrations and guided exercises, Elaine will build your confidence in the detailed and delicate art of botanical illustration.
No need to bring anything – all materials provided by House of Illustration.
Please note: this masterclass is for those aged 18+ only.
