Reportage drawing: composition and focus with Lucinda Rogers

Draw from life in King's Cross with the artist behind our current exhibition

When, Where

Taking inspiration from Lucinda’s current House of Illustration exhibition, you will be guided through making your own reportage drawing, working out and about in the local area and developing your work back in our studio.

Drawing directly from life, you will consider the ways composition works and how it can be used to help focus your chosen subject.

For our fourth commissioned exhibition, Lucinda Rogers: On Gentrification explores the relationship between old and new, focusing on East London’s 200-year-old Ridley Road Market and a new block of luxury flats.

All materials provided, but feel free to bring a sketchbook.
