Our Illustrator in Residence David Lemm hosts a four-day open studio, where visitors can come and chat to him about his work, ideas and experience on the residency to date.
As well as sharing his work so far, David will be working live in the studio each day, making this a fantastic opportunity to look behind the scenes at a contemporary illustrator's practice and processes.
The outcomes of David Lemm's 2015 residency will be on show at House of Illustration 28 January – 6 March 2016. The multi-disciplinary body of work will reveal a psychogeographic exploration of the evolving urban development of King’s Cross – and this open studio is a chance to see that work taking shape.
As well as visiting the studio, you can join in online - David will be sharing examples of his work in progress on Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #WIPweek, and we'd love you to get involved and share snippets and snapshots of what you're working on as well.
Our residency programme is supported by the Barbara and Philip Denny Charitable Trust.
