We are looking for a Fundraising Manager

House of Illustration is evolving into the Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration. We are seeking a fundraiser to generate income as we transform New River Head, a historically-significant heritage site in Clerkenwell, London, into the national centre for illustration, comprising new galleries, the archive of Sir Quentin Blake, project space, learning studio, café, shop and gardens

The Fundraising Manager role is a new position and you will be joining at an exciting moment as we embark upon a major public fundraising campaign, leading up to the opening of the Quentin Blake Centre in 2024. Reporting to the Head of Fundraising and Campaigns, you’ll be supporting the securing of grants, philanthropy and other fundraising. You’ll be results-driven, a great team-player (within a great team) and true to our values of compassion, curiosity, equality, relevance and rigour.

We’re interested in hearing from you if you have a successful track record of fundraising, perhaps in an Assistant, Coordinator, Officer or similar role. Equally you may already be in a Manager role, but looking to gain more experience of capital campaign fundraising. We’re open-minded about what experience you may bring to the role. We are advertising this as a full time role but would also be happy to hear from part-timers and job-shares. We champion art that is dynamic, diverse and inclusive; we want our team to reflect that and particularly welcome applications from people with perspectives underrepresented in museums and galleries.

 Salary: £27,000-30,000pa depending on experience

Closing date: 4 July, Midday BST
