House of Illustration is evolving into the Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration. We are looking for a brilliant person (or people) to lead our campaign to transform disused heritage buildings in Clerkenwell into the national centre for illustration and graphic arts, comprising new galleries, learning space and gardens.
As campaign lead, you’ll be building a community of supporters to bring this exciting vision to life and sustain our ongoing programmes. Whether writing a detailed funding bid or showing someone around our amazing site, you’ll become an inspiring and tenacious advocate for illustration and heritage. You’ll be highly organized and target driven. You’ll also be a great team-player (within a great team) and true to our values of compassion, curiosity, equality, relevance and rigour.
We’re interested in hearing from experienced fundraisers who can hit the ground running. We’re flexible about what that looks like and are happy to hear from individuals, job-shares, freelancers and consultants. House of Illustration champions art that is dynamic, diverse and inclusive; we want our team to reflect that.
Salary in the region £40,000-£55,000, depending on experience.
If applying as a freelancer, state your day rate and proposed time commitment.
