This LGBTQ+ History Month we’re sharing a video all about Tom of Finland’s homoerotic comics.

Hear all-round Tom of Finland expert Durk Dehner and all-round comics expert Paul Gravett talk all things Tom, from his comics of the 1940s to his more explicit works created after censorship laws changed.

Please note: this recording is for those aged 18+ only. It contains sexually explicit imagery, including some images that could be interpreted as sexually violent, and may not be suitable for everyone.

About the speakers:

Durk Dehner is the President of the Tom of Finland Foundation which he co-founded with Tom of Finland himself. He co-curated our 2020 exhibition Tom of Finland: Love and Liberation.
