Illustrator and artist Sion Ap Tomos has been sharing his knowledge and experience of sketching the London landscape for nearly 20 years.
In this masterclass he will be your guide in exploring ways of depicting architecture and space on site through the use of different drawing methods and materials.
Using the ever changing post-industrial landscape of King’s Cross as subject matter, this hands-on workshop will feature lots of hints and tips on deciding what to draw, ways of capturing the subject quickly and effectively, understanding perspective, adding people to a scene and making choices about what to include and what to leave out.
Please bring an A4 sketchbook (or larger) and any favourite drawing materials. A range of materials will be provided.
